Nashville, TN -- Montage Music Group’s The Road Hammers are everywhere these days as they prepare to release a brand new album titled BLOOD SWEAT & STEEL, perform for former President Jimmy Carter for his Habitat for Humanity Work Project today and then head to Las Vegas for a whirlwind of activity at the 43rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards, prepare to premier their own reality TV series on Great American Country and try their luck in Las Vegas.
This week, the group has a jam-packed schedule as part of festivities for the 43rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, NV. On Friday, they will visit with their friends at radio at the ACM Westwood One Radio Remote during the day. Later that evening, The Road Hammers perform at label mate Andy Griggs’ “Pickin’ & Poker Jam” at The Orleans Hotel. On Saturday morning, the band will “gear up” for the Academy of Country Music’ 5th Annual Charity Motorcycle Ride, hosted by Montgomery Gentry and will perform that afternoon on Fremont Street at the ACM Motorcycle Artist Jam. On Sunday morning, The Road Hammers treat radio contest winners to a performance and meet & greet at House of Blues during the “ACM Dream Trip of a Lifetime Party” evening will walk the “orange” carpet before the 43rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Sunday night wraps with an interview with “After Midnite with Blair Garner” backstage at the ACM All-Star Jam, where the band will discuss their brand new album, TV show and more!
TV show? YES! GAC TV recently announced that they will be airing the band’s own reality series, The Road Hammers, which chronicles the trials and tribulations of The Road Hammers as they try to land a record deal in the U.S. The series was directed by Jason Priestly of Beverly Hills, 90210. The series premiers on GAC TV on June 12th at 8:30 pm Eastern.
For fans that can’t wait until June 12th to be “hammered,” the Road Hammers are also featured in the pages of the 3rd installment of People Magazine’s Country Edition. The issue hits newsstands on Friday, May 16th and offers a FREE download of the band’s song, “I’ve Got The Scars To Prove It,” from their BRAND NEW album BLOOD SWEAT & STEEL which is set for release on June 24th and available NOW for downloads on ITunes.
