Montage Music Group Hosts Writer’s Night at The Bluebird Café

Montage Music Group Publishing company touts an impressive roster of songwriters and on Thursday, May 29th the label will show off their talent at the legendary Bluebird Café. Featured songwriters will include: Porter Howell (of Little Texas), Minnie Murphy, Pat Murphy, Trent Jeffcoat, Tami Hinesh and Bonnie Bishop.

Under the guidance of music industry veteran Bobby Rymer, Montage Music Group Publishing Company is well into their creative process, pairing their own writers with other writers in the community.  Rymer’s philosophy is an open door policy and he welcomes songwriters from other publishing companies and even unsigned writers to pair up with his own writers to create great music.  Rymer’s open door policy even extends to those writers who need a great creative space to write in even if they aren’t sharing their session with a Montage writer.
 
Before joining Montage, Rymer most recently helmed his own publishing company, Rymer Music Group. Prior to that, he was VP/GM of the Nashville office of Almo/Irving/Rondor, where he was responsible for a staff of eight employees and 22 writers, including Emmylou Harris, Gillian Welch, Annie Roboff, Craig Wiseman, and others. Before joining the publishing world, Rymer worked in A&R at Capitol Records/Nashville.
