Montage Music Nashville Adds Industry Vet Jon Conlon

            Nashville, TN – Allen Butler, President & CEO of Montage Music Nashville is pleased to announce the addition of staff member John Conlon as a member of the Radio Marketing team.  “I’m very excited that Jon will be on board with us at Montage.  His vast experience in both radio and record promotion will be invaluable to our company,” states Butler.

Conlon, an industry veteran, has an extensive background in radio as an air talent and programmer having worked at WCKG and WJKL, both in Chicago, WGKX in Memphis and with the Westwood One Radio Network in Los Angeles.

During his stint in Memphis at WGKX Conlon was awarded the distinction of Air Personality of the Year three times by the Academy of Country Music during the years of 1988, 1989 and 1992.

He started his record promotions career at Arista/Nashville as the Midwest Regional Manager, also handling the Northeast Region.  He then transferred to Los Angeles as the West Coast Regional Manager.

Conlon has most recently been the West Coast Regional Promotion manager from his post in Santa Monica, CA for Columbia Records for the past four and half years.
